The Chair of Loop Head Tourism is calling on the Government to provide increased support for ancillary businesses in the sector affected by accommodation shortages.
New data from the Irish Tourism Industry Confederation has revealed the number of international visitors to the country was down by 16% in the first three months of this year, compared to pre-pandemic levels.

Over a third of tourism beds in regional areas are now being used by the Government to accommodate Ukranian refugees and international protection applicants.
