There are calls for speed ramps to be installed in Tulla to combat speeding in a built-up area of the town.
Councillor Joe Cooney has made the call for the safety improvements, saying he wants a review to be carried out of the speed limit on part of the stretch of road between Tulla and Sixmilebridge.

The Fine Gael Councillor had suggested that the speed limit be cut, but now things speed bumps need to be installed on the stretches near schools.
