Calls For Social Housing Income Limit In Clare And Elsewhere To Be Doubled

The CEO of ISME is calling for the maximum income limits for social housing in Clare and elsewhere to be doubled.

Currently, the maximum net income threshold for a single person in this county is €25,000, with a family’s threshold standing at €30,000.

ISME has launched a new report calling for policy changes to what it describes as a ‘jobs kill zone’ for workers earning less than €30,000 a year.
