An East Clare man is adding his voice to calls for more resources to be made available to tackle the issue of illegal dumping.
It comes as an incident of household food waste being dumped on a rural road late at night was witnessed by a resident in the area and his brother.

Brian, who lives in O’Callaghan’s Mills, outlined that there was no evidence of who the culprits were after inspecting the bag that had been thrown from a car.
He told Clare FM’s Morning Focus that he would be in favour of drones and other surveillance equipment being used to capture footage of these incidents.
