Calls on Agri minister to review Teagasc office closures in Clare

The Agriculture Minister has been urged to review plans by Teagasc to reduce it’s offices in Clare.

The farming training and advisory body has already closed it’s office in Ennistymon, and plans to shut it’s facility in Scariff by the end of the year

The closure of the offices forms part of a nationwide cost-cutting scheme by Teagasc and will leave Clare with offices only in Kilrush and Ennis.
