Calls Made On Local Authority To Extend Homeless Action Team Opening Hours

Calls are being made to Clare County Council to extend the opening hours of its Homeless Action Team.

The local authority says anyone currently sleeping rough in Clare has either declined the use of its services or has been discharged for posing a risk to others.

70 people across this county presented as homeless over Christmas, with the vast majority of these staying in emergency accommodation in Ennis.
