Calls For Immediate Ban On Day Trip Buses To Cliffs Of Moher

Calls are being made for an immediate ban on day trip buses travelling to the Cliffs of Moher.

Under the current criteria of Clare County Council’s route licence, coach operators must either visit another fee paying attraction or offer an overnight package.

However so far this year, 13% of all buses arriving at the Cliffs commenced their round trips from either Galway or Dublin and left without contributing to the local economy.
