Calls are being made for immediate action to reduce waiting lists for patients with multiple sclerosis in Clare.
According to a new survey by MS Ireland, 19% of people living the condition have waited more than six months for their last neurologist appointment.

Similarly, 68%of people living with Multiple Sclerosis have needed an MRI this year, with 20% having to wait over half of a year to obtain an appointment for the MRI.
Lahinch based MS Ireland Advocacy and Research Officer Alison Cotter, says it’s vital patients in need receive timely and appropriate interventions.
