A Sixmilebridge Councillor is calling for funding to install more defibrillators throughout Clare.
It comes after recent scenes at the Euro 2020 football tournament saw Danish Footballer, Christian Eriksen, go into cardiac arrest while on the pitch, sparking concern amoung communities in the county that not enough defibrillators are provided to local towns and villages.

Fine Gael Councillor, John Crowe is requesting funding from the Department of Health for both defibrillators and training.
Councillor Crowe says there needs to be an easily accessible list of defibrillator locations around the county.
