Calls For Fresh Approach To Tackle Clare Housing Crisis

Clare’s Public Participation Network is calling on local representatives to take a fresh approach towards tackling the housing crisis in the county.

There are currently 2,505 households on the social housing list in Clare, while there have been no social houses completed since 2015.

Plans are progressing however on a number of new developments across the county, while efforts to purchase and lease vacant properties have also been stepped up by the local authority.
