The government’s being warned parts of the Ennis to Limerick Motorway pose a major safety risk after another motorist ended up driving on the wrong side of the road.

An elderly man who was picking up a relative from Shannon was stopped on the M18 on Friday night last, having travelled over 10km from Drumline towards Limerick on the wrong carriageway.
The man was eventually stopped by Gardaí on safety patrol.
