Deputy Joe Carey’s comments come despite new figures from the CSO, which reveal the highest level of job creation across the country since the end of 2007.
58,000 jobs were created in the year to the end of September, but the majority of those have come in the East and South of the country, with just over 2,000 coming on stream in the MidWest.
Deputy Carey admits more needs to be done.
