Calls for intervention in Ennis feud

Specially trained mediators with traveller organisation Pavee Point could be called into help end serious feuding in Ennis.

It was one of the suggestions put forward at meeting of the town’s Joint Policing Committee on Friday which was addressed by Martin Collins – a leading figure with the travellers’ right’s group.

He was invited to address the Committee as part of efforts to help find a solution to feuding in Clare’s county town.
