Clare TDs have called on the government to reverse their decision not to release emergency storm repair funding to help with repairs in the county.

Ministers have told Councils in Clare and other areas ravaged by the bad weather of two weeks ago to carry out a detailed assessment of damage in their areas, and to submit a report within the next month.
In the meantime, though, no money is being released but speaking during a special Dáil debate on the matter last night, Clare government TDs called for the county to be given immediate assistance for the on-going clean-up works.
