The HSE and HIQUA are being challenged to reveal the level of cleanliness and hygiene in local health facilities.
At it’s monthly meeting in January, Clare County Council requested that health officials brief members on the results of hygiene audits carried out at local hospitals and nursing homes, as well as revealing the numbers of people who contracted superbugs last year.
However, three months later, local representatives say no response has been received.
