Residents in two housing estates in Ennis hope the construction of a new roundabout won't exacerbate flooding issues in the area.

A quarter of a million euro has been announced for the development on the Tulla Road as part of a 13 million euro Government investment in Clare's local and regional roads.
There are over 450 houses in the Oakleigh Wood and Capphard Estates and residents have been campaigning for new safety measures to be implemented for the past decade, amist fears of a serious accident on the road.
Interim Chairperson of the Oakleigh Woods Resident's Association Kevin Keenan hopes works to alleviate flooding problems will be carried out in tandem with the roadworks.
