Ennistymon's Senator says there's an urgent need for clarity over the de-listing of protected properties at Blake's Corner in the North Clare town.

It follows comments by the Minister with responsibility for Heritage Heather Humphreys who told Clare FM that it is up to the County Council to de-list protected structures, including those at Blake's corner, if it wished to do so.
However, the local authority says this can't happen without prior consultation with the Department.
