Calls for Abolition of HSE Regional Forums

Clare representatives on the HSE West Regional Forum are calling for it to be scrapped and the old system of Regional Health boards reinstated.

The fora were established with the creation of the HSE and the western branch represents nine counties where councillors can put forward questions to the Executive about certain aspects of the health service.
