It’s claimed people leaving funerals in Ennis are coming back and find their cars locked into the Market Building car park in the town.
Independent Councillor James Breen is issuing a fresh call to have the opening hours of the carpark extended, with it currently closing at 8pm every night.

The lack of parking generally in the county town has long proven to be a sore point for many.
But Cllr Breen believes that opening the market building until late in the night would help in bringing more people into the town after work:
