A Clare disabilities campaigner is appealing for a change in culture in how the government and State agencies deal with people with disabilities.
It follows the release of a report, which shows they are more likely to be unemployed, or to leave employment even when their disability doesn’t inhibit everyday activities.

The ERSI report also calculates that tens of thousands more people would be employed if all disabled people who wanted to work had a job.
