Calls have been made for more directional signage in Ennis ahead of the summer tourist season.
Clare County Council erected 34 directinal signs on the outer ring road and at relevant junctions in the town in 2021, at a cost of €12,000 and has since attempted to engage with google maps surrounding pedestrianisation measures.

Despite this, one local Councillor believes visitors are having difficulty in finding their way around and often getting lost.
Fine Gael Councillor Mary Howard says a conversation around modern technology is needed.
