A Clare Peace Commissioner and local election candidate is calling for urgent clarity on access to the Fair Deal Scheme for Pyrite affected homeowners in this county.
Under the scheme, participants can apply for a nursing home loan, where the resulting payment depends on the value of the applicant’s property.
There are currently over 1,000 residential homes affected by pyrite in this county and all relevant homeowners are still awaiting a redress valuation.
