It’s claimed warning signage to indicate the blind brow of a hill is urgently needed to prevent a fatal accident in West Clare.
It’s after a constituent narrowly avoided a head-on collision with another vehicle on the eastern approach road to Lisdeen Graveyard in Kilkee recently.

Clare County Council has since requested that Transport Infrastructure Ireland review the provision of advanced warning signage on the stretch of road.
Kilkee Fianna Fáil Councillor Cillian Murphy says it’s a simple solution that must be implemented without delay to prevent a tragedy down the line.
