Calls For Answers After GPs Vote To Revise Out Of Hours Participation

Campaigners for the reinstatement of Shannon Doc are calling for answers after GP’s voted in favour of revising their participation in out of hours services.

The NAGP balloted its members last week, with 84% of respondents voting in favour of the proposal.

The union wants the HSE to take clear and decisive corrective action to address issues relating to doctor’s working hours and the effect on patient safety.
