Call For Shannon To France Route As Brexit Looms

The Taoiseach believes support for Theresa May’s Brexit deal will increase as it gets closer to a vote in the House of Commons.

The draft Withdrawal Agreement was approved by the UK government and EU 27 leaders yesterday at a summit in Brussels.

Theresa May now has to win support for the deal in the House of Commons before it can become legally binding.

Meanwhile, with Brexit on the horizon, it’s claimed a direct route from Shannon Airport to France will be vital.

Once the UK leaves the European Union in March, France will be our nearest EU neighbour, but there’s no link from there to the MidWest.
