Call For Old Ennis Library Building To Be Used As Arts Space

Calls have been made for the soon-to-be former Ennis Library building to be retained as an arts space.

The county library is set to move to a state-of-the-art €8.6 million building beside glór, with the council recently seeking submissions on the plan.

Fine Gael Councillor Johnny Flynn believes the new building would assist in creating a “21st Century Cultural Quarter” incorporating the Museum, the Peace Park, Glór and other historical buildings in the vacinity.
