Calls have been made for insurance companies to be kept in the loop about flood works in Clare so that people here can insure their homes.
Recurring floods in many parts of this county have led to some county residents being unable to get cover for their homes due to being considered to be in danger areas.
Clare County Council’s Monthly Management Report has outlined works taking place in a number of areas including Clonlara, Miltown Malbay and Ennis, all of which are at varying stages.
