The first community owned hospital in Ireland, Cahercalla Community Care is gearing up to host a number of events to celebrate a landmark 30th anniversary.
To honour the achievement a number of fundraising initiatives being held in the coming months including a parachute jump on July 19th and a family fun day on July 24th.
While on October 24th a gala dinner dance will be hosted at the Temple Gate, with any money raised contributing to the installation of an activities room within the centre and the purchase of a designated bus for excursions.
Activities Manager at Cahercalla, Caroline McMahon has told Clare FM’s Morning Focus it’s a crucial piece of infrastructure to help adhere to HIQA social needs compliance.
