Businessman Bobby Kerr is stepping down from his position as Chairperson of the Board of Cliffs of Moher DAC after seven years service.
Appointed in 2018 as the first Chair of the then newly formed board, Mr Kerr helped transition the Board of the Cliffs of Moher Centre Ltd to the Cliffs of Moher DAC in 2021, and subsequently the daily operations of the Cliffs of Moher Experience to the Clare Tourism Development DAC.
Clare County Council has expressed its gratitude to him, “for his commitment, dedication, and vision in helping to establish the Cliffs of Moher Experience as the most visited natural attraction in Ireland”.
The local authority says he brought his vast knowledge and business acronym to the role, drawing from his experience in a variety of sectors including food and hospitality, technology, hardware, and broadcasting.
Clare County Council Director of Tourism and Vice Chair of Cliffs of Moher DAC Síobhan McNulty said, “As Bobby moves on to other ventures, we would like to wish him the very best and remain grateful for his generosity in sharing his expertise as chair of the board.”
Mr Kerr said, “I am honoured to have had the opportunity to serve as Chairperson of the Board of the Cliffs of Moher DAC. The journey over the past seven years has been incredibly rewarding, and I am proud of what we have achieved together.”
