Businesses urge to train on defibrillator use

Clare businesses are being urged to undertake life saving training in Ennis

It comes as 2 Defibrillators have been installed in Ennis, in O’Connell Street and the market, with plans for up to 10 more devices to be made available for use in cardiac emergencies

Calls are now being made for businesses to put forward employees for specific training which will be carried out by the Irish Red Cross and will begin this month

Ennis town councillor and member of the Ennis Defibrillator Committee –  Paul O’Shea says properly trained volunteers are needed to ensure the life saving equipment is put to correct use.
