Ireland’s first Irish salmon visitor experience is being launched in Lisdoonvarna today.
The Taste the Atlantic Salmon visitor experience, which is based in the Burren Smokehouse forms part of the wider seafood trail, comprising 24 seafood producers from Donegal to Cork.
Visitors will learn about the central role of salmon in Irish mythology, and about modern salmon production throughout the country’s coastal communities.
