Clare VFI Chair Insists Early July Reopening For Serving Indoors Is Critical To Sector

Clare’s VFI Chair insists the government should press ahead with an early July reopening for indoor service, to ensure all hospitality businesses can trade for the height of the summer season.

It comes after Taoiseach Micheal Martin poured cold water on the VFI’s request for indoor dining to return on July 1st at the latest.

The government is due to announce its plans for easing COVID restrictions through June and July on Friday, which will include indoor hospitality, international travel and live entertainment.
