Clare Businesses Yet To Claim Over €2m In Government Funding

Over two million euro which has been allocated to Clare businesses to help offset the cost of re-opening after the COVID crisis has yet to be claimed.

The latest figures from Clare County Council show that by the end of this week, 985 firms will have been paid a total of around €3.5 million under the government’s Restart Grant.

However, the Council – which administers the scheme locally – had been allocated over 5.6 million to distribute to local businesses.
