Bus Eireann strike enters second day

Clare bus Commuters are facing major disruption today as the Bus Eireann strike enters its second day.

The vast majority of the company’s services nationwide have been hit -including most serves here-  as the row over a five million euro cost cutting plan continues.

Bus Eireann says it’s open to talks with the National Bus and Rail Union at any time.

The Head of the National Bus and Rail Union says he feels sorry for the passengers affected by the ongoing bus strike.

The NBRU General Secretary, Michael Faherty believes any passenger would do the same in their shoes.
