Bus Éireann representatives are being called on to appear before a special meeting of Shannon Municipal District Councillors.
It comes amidst ongoing issues raised by those living locally over the 343 bus route, which connects Ennis to Limerick City via Shannon.

Significantly late departures, non-arrivals, vehicles at full capacity and unnecessary stops in the town are among the chief concerns raised by locals.
Shannon Sinn Féin Councillor, Donna McGettigan, claims the current state of the service is defeating the purpose of public transport.
