An online edition of the Burren Winterage Festival is taking place this weekend.
The event is a community celebration of the ancient farming tradition of winterage or winter grazing in the Burren.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions the event will be virtual this year with funds being raised through the sale of a Burren-inspired children’s story, Calf and the Cuckoo, written by Shane Casey.
Burren farmer Michael Davoran says the festival is an opportunity to take a break from the current climate.
