It's hoped that international recognition for the Burren and Cliffs of Moher Geopark will see more tourists come from abroad to Clare.

The North Clare area has been listed in the top three attractions in the world in the Tourism for Tomorrow Awards, held in China yesterday, though it missed out on the top prize.
However, Tourism Minister Leo Varadkar has joined the heads of Ireland’s main tourist agencies in sending their congratulations on the achievement.
Award applications had been made from 56 countries.
