Burmese Nobel Peace Laureate to visit Ireland today

Aung San Suu Kyi – the Burmese pro-democracy leader – will be awarded the Freedom of Dublin city later.

She’s in Ireland to receive Amnesty International’s Prisoner of Conscience Award, and will also be conferred with an Honorary Degree from Trinity College.
