A Bunratty publican says ‘stability’ on the management of Shannon Heritage sites is urgently needed for the local tourism sector.
Engagement between the Shannon Airport Group, the Council and a number of Government departments in respect of the handover of the management of the sites remains ongoing.

There had been hope of a deal being struck before Christmas, though this didn’t happen, and the sites are now closed for three days a week until April.
Maurice Walsh of Durty Nellys, who’s also the Vice Chair of the Clare Tourism Advisory Forum, says clarity is required.
