Bunratty Farmer Says Agriculture ‘At A Crossroads’ On Food Production

A young Bunratty farmer says the agriculture industry is ‘at a crossroads’ when it comes to food production.

It comes after Macra na Feirme representatives met with the Joint Committee on Agriculture to discuss the Common Agricultural Policy.

Concerns are being raised that increasing input costs are preventing new farmers from coming on stream and making use of land.
