Bunratty Castle and Folk Park is set for a 1 Million euro facelift.

The 15th Century Castle and Folk Park is to undergo a major upgrade with an extended retail store, a new cafe, expanded entrance and refurbished admissions building.
The site is managed by Shannon Heritage, who say the project is part of a strategy to deal with increased visitor numbers in recent years.
Chief Commerical Officer Andrew Murphy says they plan to involve local firms in the project.
