Clare’s government representatives insist plans for job creation in and around the newly independent Shannon Airport are realistic, in spite of scepticism from some quarters.
850 new positions have already been secured as part of plans for an international Aviation Services Centre and its reported today that Transaero Engineering – is one of the two firms involved in the job creation.
Clare Fianna Fail TD Timmy Dooley, the party’s Transport Spokesman, says he doesn’t believe the business plans are grounded in reality.
However, Shannon Fine Gael Senator Tony Mulcahy firmly disagrees, and is confident that the outlined jobs boost is headed to the county.
He’s also revealed that Clare’s International Airport is set to receive a further boost in Wednesday’s budget
