Broadcasting Authority Rejects Clare Priest’s Complaint Against Late Late Show

The Broadcasting Authority of Ireland has rejected the complaint of a Clare native priest regarding an episode of the Late Late Show.

Cooraclare-native Fr. Kevin McNamara, who is the parish priest of Moyvanne in Co. Kerry, attracted national attention when he hit out at an edition of the program which aired in January.

On the program, Blindboy Boatclub of the Rubberbandits described the Eucharist as “haunted bread” – a phrase which Fr. Kevin said left him “hurt beyond words.”
