There’s been a broad welcome to news that the county’s first purpose dedicated Autism Spectrum Disorder unit in a post-primary school has been approved.
Work on the facility at Saint Jospeh’s Secondary School in Spanish Point is expected to get underway before the end of the year and the unit should open in 2013.
