Tidy Towns Committees across County Clare are welcoming the annoucement of 100,000 euro in funding by the local authority.
The decision was made by Clare County Council to fund a Public Area Enhancement Scheme after details of a decision on national funding failed to emerge.

Tiday Towns Groups are being invited to make submissions for funding in the range of 5,000 to 7,000 euro, but there's no guarantee that all projects will be successful.
