Clare hoteliers say confidence expressed by the new owners of the West County Hotel in Ennis is a further reason for optimism in the sector locally.

The hotel’s new Managing director Patrick Treacy – who’s family run hotels Waterford and Enniscorthy – has told Clare FM that the future of the 115 jobs there is secure, and that significant investment is planned for the premises.
