British Parliament Votes On Election

British MPs are expected to approve Theresa May’s plans for a general election on June the 8th.

There’ll be a debate in the Commons later followed by a vote, which needs a two thirds majority to go through.

The Prime Minister has said for months there wouldn’t be an election before 2020 but has changed her mind because of divisions within Westminster.
