A British backpacker has been rescued from what she says was a two-month hostage ordeal in Australia.
The 22-year-old was driving in rural Queensland when officers noticed she was distressed.

She told police she’d been repeatedly attacked while being held by her ex-boyfriend.
He was found hiding in the back of the vehicle.
