Voting has been brisk in many parts of Clare, as people cast their ballots in the referendums on same sex marriage and the minimum age of Presidential candidates.

The highest turnout reported in Clare up until lunchtime was in Kilfenora, at around 18%.
Turnout was also up towards 15% in some boxes at Drumbiggle and Cloughleigh in Ennis.
In other areas, though, including Newmarket on Fergus, Tubber and Mullagh, voting was slower.
