A trail linking the historical sites most associated with former High King of Ireland Brian Boru will be launched in his home town of Killaloe today.

Landmarks in Clare, Tipperary, Dublin and Armagh are to be promoted by the Brian Boru trail, which is being opened by the Arts Minister two days after the millennium anniversary of Boru's death.
Minister Jimmy Deenihan is optimistic that it will make a difference in Clare, and feels the decision to open the trail after Boru's anniversary is correct.
